Cellar Door Experiences

Our Cellar Door is situated at the entrance to Penola at the South Australia’s Limestone Coast. Here you’ll find our Coonawarra tasting room, where we host a range of tasting flights and experiences that showcase the unique flavours of the Coonawarra wine region’s famous soils and terroir.

Wine Tastings: Our friendly team will take you through any of our specially curated wine tastings, each taking you on a different journey. Our wine tastings have been put together to offer the full beauty and diversity of the Coonawarra wine region and the Parker Estate portfolio of fine wines.

Gin Tastings: Our team also offers a unique gin flight, showcasing our three artisanal gins. Our Signature Dry Gin, along with our wine-inspired Rosé and Cabernet gins, are all made with the signature craftsmanship that makes Parker Estate famous. The tasting is a fun and approachable introduction to the distinctive aromatics of gin, where you can sample our gins according to whatever best suits your palate.

If you’re more hungry than thirsty, then a new element to the Cellar Door experience are artisan Parker Pies made from the freshest seasonal ingredients and our fine wines. These are rapidly becoming a staple for both locals and visitors alike.

All our tastings are complimented by our refreshing NV Sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay, and our Parker Draught Beer is the perfect palate cleanser to finish off your experience.

Weddings at Parker Estate

The striking Parker Estate limestone cellar door, with its surrounding lawns and vines, is the perfect venue for your wedding ceremony and reception.

We recognise that every wedding ceremony and reception is unique. Whether you’re looking for an intimate or extraordinary wedding day, we’ll work closely with you to bring your dream to life in exquisite detail, from the ceremony to the last dance.

Events at Parker Estate

Parker Estate would love to host your next event; however big or small our venue and team can cater to every need. Flexibility and service is at the core of what we do. Our newly renovated multi-space cellar door is available for partial and full venue hire.

The Stillage:

The Stillage at Parker has been designed to offer a multi-use space for large events including weddings, birthdays, corporate events, dinners and masterclasses. This space combines history and heritage with modern convenience, returning the Estate’s barrel hall to its former glory. With high ceilings, locally hewn limestone walls and ironbark floor, the space offers the perfect canvas to bring your event to life. The Stillage is fully climate controlled and is suitable for winter and summer events.

The Tasting Room:

For something smaller and more intimate, our tasting room is also available for hire in the evenings. A light and open space with floor-to-ceiling windows that lead out to the lawns and vines beyond. With a wood fire for winter, and a well-stocked bar all year round, it’s an ideal location for your next gathering of friends or colleagues.

The Lawns:

Wrapping around the cellar door, the east-facing Bailey Lawn and the north-facing Pepper Tree Lawn look out over the vines of our Abbey vineyard. The lawns are a relaxing oasis and picture-perfect for outdoor events. The Lawns do not offer a waterproof solution to your event and are only available for hire as part of the Tasting Room.
